The name of Vietnamese flag is "Venus Red Flag"

The flag's length-width ratio is 3:2. The center of the flag is a golden pentagon, which symbolizes the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam (Vietnamese: Yuanyuan ng C ng Sn Vit Nam), and the red represents revolution and victory. The five corners of the Pentagon represent workers, peasants, soldiers, intellectuals and young people.

The Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam stipulates that the flag of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is rectangular with a width of two-thirds of its length and a red bottom with five-pointed Venus in the middle.
